Assessor Comments
Offering 1030 young SIL Paradoo Prime Composite ewes offered as a run out the gate (3 x 260, 1 x 250). Ewes are July 2022 drop and present in ideal lambing order, fit and healthy and not overdone having scanned 100% in lamb to multiples. The Winnidad flock is run under high stocking, commercial conditions with maternal genetics selected at Paradoo Prime with focus on PEMD, moderate adult weight, tight skin type and fertility. Flock fertility is evident with annual scanning in the vicinity of 160% (dry ewes in). These ewes are joined to high indexing Pioneer White Suffolks & Poll Dorset rams selected for LBW, top 10% WWT & PWWT, PEMD 2.0+ & positive PFAT. The Winnidad operation continually turns off fast maturing, well shaped and high yielding lambs at trade to heavy trade weights. A terrific opportunity to put together a large run of highly fertile SIL young Composite ewes with plenty of lambs on board. Bred from a highly productive flock.
