Assessor Comments
Bungarley blood vendor bred Australian White ewes. They offer immediate compensatory weight gain with a drench and a change in diet. These ewe failed to conceive from a 42 day joining and have been scanned empty. In previous years they would be given a second chance but this year they are being sold as surplus to requirements. Given the opportunity to better nutrition I believe these ewes would cycle and therefore conceive should anyone be looking for a line of quality ewes to start a flock to add to existing numbers at a very reasonable price. Alternatively they are all frame just lacking cover and will top up quickly to kill specifications for a quick turnaround. Vendor is also offering ewe lambs in today’s lamb sale.
